Hi, I thought I would try to answer your question. Both Ms. Bachman and Newt would try to lower gas prices by strengthening the US dollar. How would they do that:? - They would balance the budget, and start paying down the Massive 15+ Trillion dollar debt we have.
Would it work - If they started to pay down the debt that would increase the value of the US dollar - yes. Would it lower gas to $2.50 - I doubt it.
But I thought I would tell you Why they said those things.

Hi, I never could figure out why the democratics never came up with a budget when they controlled all three parts of gov. Harry Reid just kept saying No to 2 or 3 budget plans approved in the house. I voted for Obama, but will not do so next year, I have been unemployed for over 2 yrs and all Obama does is raise money for his re-election.

You must be a hard driver. I have had Chevy's, fords, Pontiac's & Jeeps. The lowest mileage I have had on any of them before problems would arise was around 110,000 miles!
